FNBO: SMALL BUSINESS

First National Bank wanted to inspire small business owners. The request was standard: show people working hard, add inspirational music, stir. It’s the kind of brief that usually results in "wallpaper" TV.

We pushed for cinematic gravity. We ignored the "montage of many" and focused on the "drama of one." We told the story of a restaurateur struggling to let go of the business he built, and the pride of watching his son take the helm. We hired a director who treated it like a feature film, not a localized ad buy.

It was expensive, risky, and beautiful. We gave Omaha a spot that felt like premium cinema, proving that a local bank can carry the emotional weight of a national brand.
